IntelliSight Selected as Customer Experience Solution for O2’s Self-Optimizing Intelligent Network

Empirix is pleased to announce that the Empirix IntelliSight solution has been selected by telecommunications firm O2 to deliver actionable information that will empower its new intelligent network. The Empirix IntelliSight platform is optimized for customer experience, network, and application performance management and enhances strategic business decision making by enabling communication service providers to gather the intelligence necessary to reduce churn and streamline operations.

Self-Optimizing Intelligent Network

O2 is using Empirix IntelliSight in the implementation of its new Self-Optimizing Intelligent Network. The first of its kind in the United Kingdom, this new network will learn from and analyze the experiences and behaviors of 24 million O2 customers while redirecting signals in real time, rendering it the smartest mobile network in the United Kingdom.

CX insights

After extensive evaluation, Empirix was selected to provide both traffic collection probes and the IntelliSight analytics platform for O2’s new intelligent network. O2 recognized the value of a single family, high capacity (40 Gbps) probe solution capable of growing with its business and streamlining troubleshooting through comprehensive network monitoring, but was ultimately sold on the platform’s ability to generate detailed customer insights.
