Giving Thanks for Great Customer Service

With the coming of Thanksgiving, I’d like to take a moment to show some appreciation. Empirix has experienced a great deal of success over the years, but of course we couldn’t have done it without our customers. With that in mind, I’d like to say thank you, wonderful customers. I am thankful that you have confidence in our solutions and trust us to keep your communications environments running smoothly.

And from my own customer-side perspective, I appreciate the fact that you respect your own customers enough to want to give us a top of the line experience – one that isn’t interrupted by random glitches, one that doesn’t leave us hanging on the line with just silence on the other end, and one where we can speak to the right representative who will have the correct information at their fingertips to answer our questions.

In fact, I broaden my thanks to include every company that puts excellent customer service at the top of their lists. Finding answers to customer service-related questions can often be difficult, especially at this time of the year when companies are inundated with holiday-related calls and holiday-stressed customers. We customers need all the pampering we can get, and those companies that take the time to make the customer experience a better one deserve a gold medal.

I recognize that when I contact a company with a question, my question can’t always be answered on the first go-round. But I am very thankful for those companies that at least try to make things better by eliminating those technical issues that could make me even more upset from the get-go. I know it’s an investment on your part, but believe me, the payoff is huge.

I hope that everyone reading this has a very happy holiday season. And whether or not you celebrate Thanksgiving, I hope you will take the time to say “thank you” to someone important in your life – and to enjoy the season.
